Without running this by our lawyers, we are on fairly safe ground when we say that the petro-chemical moisture wicking base layers (polyester to you and me) have issues. Like they stink. Just wear them a couple of times and you will see what we mean. That's because the actual fibre is so uniform that molecules from sweat just love sticking to them. And because you can't wash them at a high enough temperature they carry on smelling. Dumb, huh.
The natural base layer is made from the finest merino wool from New Zealand. It's breathable, it wicks naturally, it's bio-degradable, comes from a renewable resource and it feels great on. Oh, and in tests people have worn for 90 days in a row without getting up anyone's nose. Other than the competitions.
