The 10-base decentred lens ensure distortion free vision and absolute clarity, though it's the climacool ventilation system and anti-fog lenses that we've found to be great when we're working hard. When the sweat is dripping the sweat blocker strip across the top of the frame prevents it from rolling down onto the frame or into your eyes.
The angle of the frame arms is adjustable by 8o to three positions, which really aids positioning, especially when used for various sports and also helps with ventilation and close fitting of the sweat blocker to the forehead. Additionally, the two-position nose bridge allows better fitting of the face.
The adjustable hinges also feature a quick release, so that in the event of an accident, the arms can pop out rather than snapping at the hinges, making these glasses extra durable in the long term. This also allows the arms to be easily replaced with the head strap which allows the glasses to be used in sports where they could otherwise fall off, like skiing, sailing, jet skiing and other watersports. The regular arms feature Traction GripTM and flex zones to allow a secure and comfortable grip on the side of the head for most normal uses and we find them just great for running and biking.
The Evil Eye Exlporer also features easily interchangable lenses and each set comes with two sets of lenses, with colours varying with frame colour. All the lenses feature an anti-fog coating that we've found the best we've come across in use and each set combines a dark lens for sunny conditions with a bright lens for low light conditions.
There are options to fit the SPACE lens, which is a Cat 4 lens, developed by NASA for use by astronauts and the occupants of the International Space Station. This lens is also particularly useful in intense lighting conditions, whether glacial, snow or water environments.
